At Monday's town meeting, Jeffrey Castelow and Timothy Roberts were honored for their promotions from officer to officer first class in the Bel Air Police Department.
Roberts has served the town since April 27, 2009. He previously served with the police department in Roanoke, VA. He has completed specialized courses in the Taser-X 26 Operator Course, MILES & NCIC Training, Police Mountain Bike Course, Bushmaster M4 Assault Rifle Course and Unity of Command and Control.
Castelow has been with the BAPD since January 2009 after brief stints with the Baltimore County Police Department and Cecil County Deputy Sheriff. He has completed specialized courses in Gang Training, MILES & NCIC training and Unity of Command and Control.
Their promotions were effective Monday.
