as rain started, an elderly gentleman wandered in my lane, white beard, walking stick and flyers for Elvis. I offered my help, put the notice on F.B. and then checked out the fields, as the man left to continue his searching. Here's hoping they find Elvis, i know full well the pain of a missing pet, and the joy of re-uniting with them...

just checked with Charley, 8:30 p.m. Monday, and a 'tracking dog' was used to follow Elvis' scent, and it followed a large circle from the point of origin around Bel Air Memorial Gardens and down by the 7-11 and back to the home on Felicia Court...but no sign of Elvis...
If anyone reading this post knows the whereabouts of this pet, please step up and notify the owners. Thanks.

Feel free to contact my step-mother, Sam Connelly at 410.365.7456 to aid in finding Elvis. She has a pet search and rescue called Pure Gold Pettrackers, and they have a very high success rate. Good luck, and I hope Elvis comes home soon!

Thanks for your comments. We did have Sam here on Sunday tracking Elvis. She and her tracking dog, Salsa, were wonderful. We have Elvis' path of travel (he is looping), and are trying to research, post, do whatever we can to get the word out - and ultimately find him... Thanks again... Please feel free to cross-post info.

We are watching for his return over here at Enterprise Park. I have two labs and understand what you must be going through. My prayers are with Elvis and with his family. I have forward this link to my children who live over in this area, hopefully he will be found soon.

When they find "Elvis" the Patch should honor him by using him as their mascot! With the owners agreement, of course. What a sweet looking boy!

Elvis has been spotted in a construction area in the Henderson Road area (this morning), in addition to several sightings (Saturday) in the Vineyard Oaks area (near T&M mulch). We have had people out there searching (the neighborhood in Vineyard Oaks has been wonderful - people on bikes, kids in groups, armed with walkie talkies, hot dogs). We still don't have our hands on him yet - but the recent sightings are proving very hopeful. People in general (like readers of this post) have been wonderful - it has been so uplifting for us to see. Thank you to everyone for cross-posting and searching and really coming together to help us locate and find him... We really appreciate all of your efforts...

can't believe with this many sightings someone hasn't given him a treat, and got hold of him...puzzling.

Here is the blurb I posted on the updated announcement:
Thanks so much for posting this! I'm trying to update everyone... He was actually a Hickory visitor from out of state, and was really eluding everyone who saw him. He did not know the area, and was very scared. He would see people and head into the woods or farms - places he favored in all sightings...
He was spotted near T&M mulch and nearby in Hickory consistently throughout, but then was being spotted miles and miles away in Jarrettsville, Street, etc. too.
We enlisted Pure Gold pet trackers in addition to other pet trackers, saw that he appeared to be looping (somewhat) set traps from Animal Control (in various places, when he was sighted), and last night, he was seen in the neighborhood of my brother-in-law's house (where he was originally visiting).
We moved the trap, loaded it with steak, hot dogs, chicken - and he was in there this morning...
Thank you so much everyone... We really do appreciate everyone's phone calls for sightings, offers of help, and everyone that was out there looking with us. We are so very grateful - and happy....
