With 213 votes and plenty of positive feedback from the community, Bel Air residents seem to agree The Arena Club offers the best workout in town.

"We’re very excited that the community all voted for us and that we’ve got such big support," said Laura Dougherty, with The Arena Club marketing department. "What makes us different is we offer a full family facility."

She explained youth recreation options, child care and birthday party spaces are just a few ways the club gives back to families who are members.

"What makes us great? I would have to say it’s our members, our staff, the culture that we’ve created here," Rodney Sample, service and hospitality director, told Patch Friday morning.

Sample said great trainers and as well as quality equipment also factor into the equation for greatness.

I like their layout. I like their equipment. The Helix machine is awesome. The trainers are genuinely interested in the health of the members. The programs and ideas they have are always fresh and new. The sincerity and dedication all trickles down from the owners of the Arena club: they are good people.
