Bel Air Crime: Domestic Violence, Thefts

The following information was supplied by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, the Bel Air Police Department and Maryland State Police. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following is a recent arrest made by the Bel Air Police Department:

Edgewood man taken into custody

William Thomas Scott, of the first block of Oak Street in Edgewood, was arrested and taken into custody on a body attachment to ensure his appearance in court.

The following are recent arrests made and incidents handled by the Harford County Sheriff's Office:

Abingdon man charged with assault

Jaquan R. Purvis, 29, of the 3400 block of Shrewsbury Road in Abingdon, was charged Feb. 7 with second-degree assault after a 1:04 a.m. domestic violence call to the home.

Abingdon woman arrested on warrant

Joanne Banner, 55, of the 3800 block of Memory Lane in Abingdon, was arrested Feb. 7 on a Harford County District Court bench warrant in a case in which she ws charged with vandalism less than $500.

Edwards Manor Drive in Forest Hill, 2400 block, reported 10:50 a.m. Feb. 7. Someone broke into and stole property from a vehicle.

Brandon Hunt Lane in Baldwin, 3100 block, reported 1:04 p.m. Feb. 7. Two residential burglaries took place in that block. The second was reported around 1:45 p.m. Feb. 7.

Fallston Boulevard in Fallston, 300 block, reported 4:27 p.m. Feb. 7. Shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

Yvette Drive in Forest Hill, 800 block, reported 9:34 p.m. Feb. 7.  A domestic assault took place in the home.
