Bel Air Crime: Pellet Gun Assault, Dogs Attack Turkeys

The following information was supplied by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are recent incidents handled by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:

Telford Court in Abingdon, 1000 block, reported 11:08 a.m. July 26. Jewelry and cash were stolen.

Mardic Drive in Forest Hill, 2100 block, reported 11:55 a.m. July 26. A vehicle was vandalized.

Bel Air Auto Auction, 803 Bel Air Road in Bel Air, reported 12 p.m. July 26. A person banned from Bel Air Auto Auction was trespassing.

Longshots Sports Bar, 4017 Philadelphia Road in Abingdon, reported 12:05 a.m. July 27. A disorderly, intoxicated person tried to drive home from the bar.

Greenwood Ridge Court in Bel Air, 1100 block, reported 11:22 a.m. July 27. Community property was vandalized.

Bentley Circle in Bel Air, 1500 block, reported 8:25 p.m. July 27. A young person tried to break into a home.

Ruffs Mill Road in Bel Air, 2100 block, reported 10:25 p.m. July 27. A home was burglarized.

La Tolteca, 2350 East Churchville Road in Churchville, reported 11:23 p.m. July 27. Burglars vandalized and stole various items out of a car.

Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Upper Chesapeake Drive in Bel Air, reported 4:14 a.m. July 29. A person was transported to the hospital after being shot with a pellet gun.

Connolly Road in Fallston, 200 block, reported 9:08 a.m. July 29. A man stole a carton of cigarettes.

Ladybank Court in Bel Air, 1400 block, reported 12:30 p.m. July 29. A burglar failed to break into a home.

Kirkcaldy Way in Abingdon, 700 block, reported 3:33 p.m. July 29. Someone reported credit card fraud.

Gibson Road in Forest Hill, 2300 block, reported 4:03 p.m. July 29. Dogs killed a woman’s turkeys.

Prospect Mill Road in Bel Air, 700 block, reported 7:40 p.m. July 29. A coin collection was stolen.

violence is not good, wish people would take my steps to be careful in what they do. i play with airsoft guns and before i started to play i became well aware of what the safety issues were and what people thought about the items. this is some info that might be helpful http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-safety.htm

I am actually the man who was shot with the pellet gun on this blotter. Three hooded teenagers attempted to force their way into my house and they were armed with a pellet gun. After a short scuffle, I took a step back to grab a knife that was nearby, but they were already leaving, but not before shooting me. I gave the police a first name and the street one of them lived on, but that wasn't enough for them to go on. They tried to break in again through a window a few weeks later, but the police can't be bothered with things like that.
