Bel Air Cupcakery Wins 'Cupcake Wars'

Flavor Cupcakery in Bel Air won the competition featured in Sunday night's "Cupcake Wars" episode.

It was sweet victory for in Sunday night's episode of "Cupcake Wars" on the Food Network.

Shelley Stannard, owner of the Bel Air store, and her pastry chef Jason Hisley and came out on top. They won $10,000 for the business and the opportunity to reveal their cupcake display at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts for opening night of "The Nutcracker."

Hisley's mom was the picture of excitement Sunday night during a viewing party at in Bel Air where about more than 150 people gathered to watch the show.

"It's like a parent's dream come true," Dixie Hisley, Jason Hisley's mother, said.

She explained every parent wants the best for their child, and that to see her son succeed at this level is satisfying and exhilarating for her.
