If you are planning to hit the library or pay a speeding ticket in Harford County today, you're out of luck.
Today marks Columbus Day and in Harford County, that means courts, public libraries and Bel Air town offices are closed in observance of the day.
The Harford County Board of Elections office is also closed Oct. 8, according to the county's website. There will also be no mail delivery.
Harford County Government is open and trash services will not be disrupted.
