UPDATED: Crews On Scene of 2-Alarm FIre in Darlington
A six-bay garage in the 400 block of Darlington Road was ablaze early Tuesday morning.
UPDATED (8:15 a.m.)—Crews from a number of Harford and Cecil county fire companies responded to a two-alarm fire in Darlington early Tuesday.
Before 7 a.m., crews responded to the 400 block of Darlington Road (MD Route 161) for a report of a fire at a six-bay, single-story garage, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association.
Gardiner said one firefighter from Darlington Volunteer Fire Company was transported to a local hospital with heat exhaustion.
Crews from Level, Darlington, Aberdeen, Perryville, Aberdeen Proving Ground and the Susquehanna Hose Company responded to the blaze, Gardiner said.
Gardiner said the Maryland State Fire Marshal also was responding to the scene.
