Reward Offered for Bank Robber's Capture
Maryland State Police are offering $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Maryland State Police are offering up to a $2,000 reward for tips that lead to the arrest of a man suspected of robbing the same bank twice in less than two weeks.
The Madison Square Federal Saving Bank on Bel Air Road was robbed at approximately 9:30 a.m. Oct. 9. Bank employees told authorities that they recognized the robber as the same suspect who robbed the same bank on Sept. 30.
According to a statement from state police, the suspect pointed a black handgun at employees when they refused to unlock the door leading to the bank lobby from the vestibule. The employees were unharmed, and the suspect then fled to the Fallston Mall shopping center.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office is investigating the Sept. 30 robbery.
