Forest Hill Cats Need Home

Because they are believed to be brother and sister, Sharon Kenney hopes these barn cats can be adopted together and brought in from the cold.

One Forest Hill resident is hoping to find a home for two cats that frequent her property.

Sharon Kenney shared an announcement on Patch looking for potential owners for Hannah and Henry, two barn cats who have been hanging out on her property since the end of summer.

"Seems everyone wants kittens, but these two are just as adorable and cuddly and want nothing more than love and affection," Kenney wrote.

The orange cats are about 12-15 months old. Sharon and her family have fed and cared for the two cats ever since they migrated to their property from a nearby barn.

They are socialized, and would likely adapt well to being indoors, she writes. Hannah has been to the vet and had her shots and Henry is scheduled to go shortly.

Because they are believed to be brother and sister, Kenney hopes they can be adopted together and brought in from the cold.

If you would like to give these sweethearts a loving home please contact Sharon at 443-504-3835 (Forest Hill).

Thanks, KIrsten, for featuring my article about Henry and Hannah. I have an appointment next Friday, Dec 21st to have them spayed/neutered and Henry will also get all his shots (Hannah has had hers). Let's hope that someone will be able to give these two a wonderful home for the holidays!

I would love to take them but have 3 of my own. My question is, if you can not place them by winter, do you have a shelter for them to escape from the cold?

My children desperately want a cat for Christmas, and i wanted to get 2 so they could keep each other company when we are at school and work. Will they stay inside I wonder?

Just now getting back on here...between the holidays and tax season (I work for a CPA firm) I haven't had the chance! @ Donna - Yes....I have had Henry and Hannah in my basement for the past 2 months! All is good! @ Melissa - I know Christmas is past, but I wonder if you're still looking for 2 kitties?! I not only still have Henry and Hannah, but I also have 3 kittens in the basement with them (Abby, Maggie & Gracie). They are all doing well....have all had shots, been treated with Revolution (for fleas, worms, ear mites) and Henry, Hannah and Abby have been spayed/neutered. Sweethearts all! I have bonded with all of them.....will be hard to part with any of them but will do so if I'm sure they will have indoor, happy, healthy lives! I will be discriminatory on who I give them to. Please call and give me your email address if you are interested in seeing more pictures! ~Sharon 443-504-3835
