The Forest Hill Express will represent Harford County in the Cal Ripken World Series in August.

The Forest Hill Express will roll into Aberdeen this August.

No, not a train—a powerhouse of a youth baseball team.

Forest Hill won the Harford County District Championship for 11- and 12-year-olds last weekend to earn the right to represent the host county in the Cal Ripken World Series later this summer at the Ripken Baseball Youth Complex.

Have photos of the Express? Post them with this article!

Forest Hill came out of the loser's bracket to defeat Hickory twice—by scores of 4-2 and 3-2—on Sunday to win the title at Kelly Field in Bel Air.

Hickory will go on to content for the Maryland title. The state champ will play in the World Series, as well.

TELL US: How will Forest Hill do this August? Can the Express advance further than any previous Harford County team? Leave a comment.

A day of outstanding baseball! So proud of the Express boys, each one of them played the games with everything they had! What a great display of team work. Also have to say the Hornets played a great game, what an amazing group of talented young men they are!
