Joe's Crab Shack, the first restaurant slated for the Boulevard at Box Hill, is set to open by December, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Originally projected to open Oct. 1, the business will join Wegmans, which opened Sept. 18. PNC Bank and Panera Bread are also set to open on the Boulevard, as first reported by Patch.

The menu for Joe’s includes shrimp, mussels, oysters, and of course, crabs. The restaurant also serves burgers, desserts and alcoholic beverages.

Joe’s opened its first location in Texas in 1991 and now has 114 eateries nationwide, including in Greenbelt, Gaithersburg, Wilmington and Washington, DC. The Gourmet Dining corporation owns the restaurant.

Encore Construction won the bid to build the business.
