Worrell said the category of "endangered runaway" is not something the sheriff's office determines, but rather the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Worrell said the case has not risen to a critical level based on sheriff's office operating policies.

The sheriff's office evalutes cases based on critical factors such as, "Any circumstances that would cause a reasonable person to conclude that a missing child should be considered 'at risk,'" according to its policy.

The case did not rise to the level of an Amber Alert, Worrell explained.

"That still doesn’t minimize [that] there is a mother out there looking for her child and it’s important for anyone in the community with information to reach out to authorities," Worrell said.

Krisdina was last seen wearing a black, long sleeved shirt, black leggings and UGG boots, according to the poster.

The girl is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, about 130 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

While there have been in the county, Worrell said police do not believe any of the incidents are connected.

"Her absence from her home is not believed to be related to any reports of suspicious circumstances in other neighborhoods," Worrell said.
