Last Tacos: Bel Air Baja Fresh Closed Saturday

Before the Bel Air business closed, Patch sampled the food one last time.

Baja Fresh in Bel Air closed Saturday, so my colleague and I took one last taste of the fare on Friday.

Patch heard an outcry from local patrons of Baja Fresh Mexican Grill in Bel Air last week after the announcement that the business was closing.

The business cashed out its registers and locked its doors for the last time Saturday.

But this local editor couldn't let the business go without a farewell meal.

On Friday, my colleague and fellow fan of the casual sit-down and carryout restaurant joined me for one last taco at the business that has been a fixture for nearly 10 years.

I snapped a few pictures of the occasion to share the meal in spirit with all of you. I hope you enjoy.

Green stuff was yummy! Used to pour great quantities over the burrito with tons of cilantro. I'm starting to tear up just thinking about it...come back little burrito house!

I heard they closed because the landlords jacked up their rent to some ridiculous amount. If that is the case, a lot of stuff might start moving out of that shopping center.

I took my kids there tonight and we were disappointed to see it closed. We had to settle for Taco Bell. I would love to see a new one open in the area, but I agree that Timonium is too far.
