A 29-year-old Rising Sun man was killed Sunday morning in a motorcycle accident in Fallston, police said.
Adam Charles Wyatt, of the 500 block of Chrome Road in Rising Sun, was traveling north on a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle in the 1700 block of Carrs Mill Road when he was ejected as he lost control entering a curve, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said. Wyatt and the motorcycle slid across the roadway and were struck by a 2004 Honda Civic driven by Dennis Theodore Keeney 3rd, 20, of the 6600 block of Blackhead road in Middle River, according to the sheriff department's preliminary investigation.
Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene by a Fallston Volunteer Fire Company paramedic. The accident took place just before 11 a.m. Sunday.
Wyatt, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was determined to be at fault in the accident, according to the preliminary investigation. The State's Attorney's office will review the investigation to determine if charges will be filed.
Such review is standard in fatal accidents, sheriff's office spokeswoman Monica Worrell said.

Carrs Mill road is a scenic, historic thoroughfare in Harford county. Those of us who know and travel that road use caution always. Those who are not familiar with Carrs Mill would better serve themselves and others by using extreme caution and slow speeds....

Pronounced dead by a volunteer paramedic? That thought sends chills up my spine.

i have no problem w/that at all 'mvphkr' , whatever...if a trained paramedic sees 'death'...and it's obvious, they certainly aren't the 'official medical examiner'...that is true, but i see no problem with that person saying, 'the person was dead'....at the scene of the accident.

Most "volunteer" medics are "paid" medics in other areas of the state. What a biased thing to say. I bet if your loved one were in serious need of medical attention and a volly showed up, you wouldn't turn them away would you? Nope, you would be grateful that they even showed up after your rude comment. Wow.
A big thank you to ALL of our medics and fire staff, paid or unpaid, I am certainly grateful for your service. A bigger thanks to those of you who left your families on Thanksgiving to tend to our county's emergencies. For free. People should check their ignorance before making comments like that.
