Man Flown Out After Fall In Churchville
A man in his fifties suffered injuries in the wake of a fall.
The fall took place in a wooded area in the 3000 block of Churchville Road.

One man was flown to a regional trauma center Saturday after falling out of a tree.
Around 2:20 p.m. a man in his fifties suffered injuries after falling in a wooded area in the 3000 block of Churchville Road in Churchville, according to a Facebook post and correspondence from Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS spokesman, Rich Gardiner.
A medevac helicopter was called to the scene to transport the injured man.

For about 2 weeks now, there have been sirens going past my house on 22 every few hours. What is going on lately that there have been so many accidents, fires, injuries? I pray that this man is going to be ok.....let's all try to be more safe!!! (Negative people: that is not me saying he was not being safe, so try to refrain from nasty comments here)

If you live on 22, I would find it surprising not to hear sirens.......it is a rather busy road.
Suggest you move to more rural area to avoid noise and sirens.

To me, Harford County Gov't slacks when it comes to certain roadways. They've known for years in advance how busy the county was going to get with Brac moving in. Also, who knows where the sheriffs are early in the morning when commuting is going on? Hmmm. This is where you need to stop the aggressive drivers on the road. Wake up HC Gov't.

Route 22 and most or all of the congested roads in the county are State roads. The county has been begging the State for years to improve them, but unfortunately Harford County is not in favor of the powers that be in Annapolis. They prefer to spend money on mass transit in the DC suburbs and Baltimore.

I do not mind the sirens. When I lived in Baltimore 23 years ago, I lived next door to a fire house. What I was expressing was concern for what is going on here. I have lived in this house for 4 years, and have not heard as many sirens as I have in the past 2 weeks. My question was, what is going on that there are that many, so frequently? But thanks for your input!

The reason you are hearing so many sirens is that the emergency call volume is increasing in the Route 22 corridor. The more the population increases and businesses grow and develop the more you will have an increase in the use of emergency services (including law enforcement). There are plans for the BAVFC to locate a future 4th station somewhere in the Route 22 and Route 543 service area to handle the calls, similar to the Patterson Mill expansion.
