As the clock ticks down to midnight in Annapolis, Maryland lawmakers are frantically working to pass the state's budget.
With just over an hour to go, Gov. Martin O'Malley met with State House reporters to give his take on the 2012 legislative session, speaking specifically about the budget. (See video)

Taxes are already way too high in Maryland. Too much waste and fraud in Maryland Medicaid and other programs. And too many freeloaders and deadbeats that don't pay any state income taxes. Just say no to higher taxes.

I wonder how much of the $800 billion in cuts in the budget that Gov. O'Malley refers to were actually cuts and not reductions in proposed budget increases.
Is anyone tired of hearing the Governor overuse the phrase "moving forward"?
I know I am. Every time he uses that phrase he takes more of our money.
He now uses it about as often as a surfer uses the phrase "hey dude!"
My wallet is now empty.

More taxation, no representation. Sure the freeloaders are going to re-elect these clowns - why wouldn't they? Meanwhile, O'Malley's driving businesses, jobs, and hard working citizens out of the state. Bring Back Bob!

Our State of Maryland is the sum of it's citizens. Well funded schools, universities, and the recreation facilities necessary to shape and guide our children and young adults into educated, fair minded leaders of tomorrow, is where our resources need to be spent. Think of the jobs in education, & recreation, now, & into a Just Future.
