KD should be ashamed of herself this time. "following an 'incident' at the school Tuesday". What, a stabbing, a shooting...? No, just an accident where a kid hit his head on a padded wall. I know writers use headlines to draw audiences in to read the story, but at the expense of a child?

What expense? All she did was state what happened. If it had been something more serious it would have been mentioned in the title. Don't get yourself all worked up.

Well, as a parent, you learn to not waste seconds with useless fluff, get to the point quickly when there is an emergency. A medevac evacuation is pretty serious and in this day and age, images of other "incidents" go racing through your mind. Maybe I did get worked up, and maybe if it were more serious it might have gotten mentioned in the title. I, however, have less faith in writers trying to establish an audience base. Either way, my heart and thoughts go out to the family and the child. I hate seeing sick or injured children.

Understandable, but I don't think that was truly her intent. Medevacs aren't necessarily as serious as you would think and aren't all that unusual for a head injury. Like if someone is unconscious at the scene of an accident, they'll call for a Medevac. My boyfriends father had a seizure and was in an accident and was fine... not a cut or scratch on him, but since he went unconscious they had him taken out on the Medevac. So that's just something to keep in mind when you hear about a Medevac being used. It doesn't always mean the person is critically injured.

Not only was this article fluffed up but the big middle finger was given to the unnamed student. How embarrassing to hit your head on a padded wall, could have just said wall, eh?
