After nearly a week of worrying, Mary Ann Wells is reunited with her missing cat.
Leo, a grey tiger tabby with white paws and a white blaze down his nose, went missing Oct. 11. The young, outgoing and talkative indoor cat had slipped out of the house.
His owner, Mary Ann Wells, posted an announcement on Patch in the hopes someone in the area had spotted him. She also hired a pet detective to track her cat.
On Wednesday, she got a call from the Humane Society of Harford County stating Leo had been dropped off by a neighbor.
Wells wrote an email to Patch thanking everyone who stayed on the lookout for her beloved pet.
The following is the full note of thanks from Wells:
Thank you for the opportunity to reach out to the community while looking for my cat. I have been such a basket case while he was gone. I had even gone to the point of hiring a pet detective to track where he had been traveling. It was very enlightening. After the track I knew where I was going to need to place missing posters. He was traveling way outside of where I thought he would be. One thing the tracker mentioned is that he might “follow” us home. Sure enough the next morning I got a call from the Humane Society stating that he got dropped off that morning from a neighbor that didn’t know my cat was missing (I hadn’t put up posters yet). Leo (my cat) had gotten into his garage the night of our track. A neighbor from a couple streets over that I met on the track, walked over to tell my husband that he had seen my grey cat that night of the track. I am very thankful to everyone to have him back home.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann Wells

I'm researching this kind of matter to use in a very long term business I will be thinking about beginning. Appreciate this information, it has been academic and also helpful to us.
