Police: Man Robs Bel Air Walgreens

The Harford County Sheriff's Office is seeking help in finding the man they say robbed a Walgreens in Bel Air Thursday.
A man, described as being approximately 6 feet tall and with a thin build, allegedly robbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the Walgreens located at 1927 Emmorton Road in Bel Air around 8:10 p.m. Thursday.
The man is pictured in a security camera image included with this post.
He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt along with "tight fitting blue jeans and black and white sneakers" when he robbed the store, police said.
Anyone with information may contact the sherfif's office at 410-838-6600.

The article gives the address for the store as 1927 Emmorton Road, which is near Plumtree as EMMS points out.
There is another Walgreens at the corner of MD24 and Marketplace Dr--across from Target.

This is the location of a Walmart project (plumtree/Emmorton) - if cre increases from a Walgreens, just image what a Walmart might bring considering the problems in the Abingdon and Fallston Walmarts.

Read the the Police Blotter in the Aegis or Bel Air Patch.com....you'll see for yourself the theft, drug transactions, and sexual activity that takes place at the Abingdon and Fallston Walmart....we don't need another Walmart.....they will close the intersection of Plumtree and Rt 24.....traffic will be a nightmare.....and the apartments going up across 24 at Tolgate will bring in all sorts of unwanted activities....we will become another Edgewood

I wouldn't say that the Walgreen's increased crime, no more than the local gas station or 7 eleven.Any business now days that keeps their doors open at night and accepts cash are victims to these junked up kids. This kid was most likely from the neighborhood, looking for drug money to feed the sadly increased pill popping culture that is festering in Harford county. The people who work at these local establishments are victims and to blame the business for such a crime is like blaming a homeowner for a break in, in their house.

Oh my goodness....They have really instilled fear into you all about the Walmart coming, haven't they? You do realize the people spearheading the anti Walmart movement are the grocery stores in the area, right? Its a Walmart for goodness sake, not a methadone clinic. Your biggest fear should be getting hit by falling prices! lol
