Police Recover Stolen Tractor Trailer, Make Arrest
Traffic was delayed on Interstate 95 in the area of The Maryland House rest stop as a result of the stop.
Police drew their service weapons Monday afternoon on a man suspected of stealing a tractor trailer, Patch observed.
Maryland State Police stopped a tractor trailer not far from Maryland House rest stop on Interstate 95 at around 4 p.m. Traffic was blocked as a result of the stop, with only one lane of traffic getting through.
At least three police cruisers were involved in the stop.
Troopers approached the tractor trailer with guns drawn, a Patch editor witnessed firsthand.
Maryland State Police with the JFK Highway Barrack said the vehicle was stolen from a Baltimore business and expected traffic to be disrupted for a short time as police took the suspect into custody.
Stick with Patch for updates.
