POLICE: Reported Thefts, Recent Arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

 

Harford County Sheriff’s Office:

Abingdon woman accused of disorderly conduct

Shannon Lee Simpson, 42, of the 500 block of Eastview Terrace in Abingdon, was charged Jan. 15 with disorderly conduct, failure to stop after unattended property damage accident, failure of driver involved in accident to give insurance policy information, failure of driver in accident to locate and notify owner of damage and speeding.

Forest Hill man arrested on traffic bench warrant

Joshua Alan Vecchiolla, 25, of the 200 block of Thomas Manor Lane in Forest Hill, was arrested Jan. 13 on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with driving while his license was suspended.

Abingdon, Bel Air thefts

A theft was reported Jan. 16 in the 200 block of Oak Leaf Circle in Abingdon.

A theft was reported Jan. 15 in the 1500 block of Scarlett Oak Court in Bel Air.

A theft was reported Jan. 13 at Safeway in the 200 block of Brierhill Drive in Bel Air.

Fallston, Bel Air fraud

Fraud was reported Jan. 15 in the 200 block of Mary Jane Lane in Bel Air.

Fraud was reported Jan. 13 at CVS Pharmacy in the 2300 block of Bel Air Road in Fallston.

Abingdon man charged with drug possession

Dante R. Richardson, 23, of the 1200 block of Splashing Brook Drive in Abingdon, was charged Jan. 14 with possession of marijuana and drug possession with intent to distribute.

Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack:

Abingdon woman charged with drug possession

Jackie Neal Bentley, 42, of the 2600 block of Merrick Way in Abingdon, was charged Jan. 13 with possession of a drug other than marijuana, possession of marijuana and resisting or interfering with arrest.

Bel Air man charged with assault

Craig Steven Soltis, 40, of the 2300 block of Calvary Road in Bel Air, was charged Jan. 13 with second-degree assault.

A person (me) in the Park Manor subdivision of Bel Air had his vehicle broken into. The thief got away with a Garmin 750 GPS and a few other items of lesser value.
