Fritzies, they are the best. Try the Downtown. They also have hand cut fries.

Any sandwich at Savona is awesome. My personal favorites are the Main Street Muffeletto (not sure of the spelling on that one) and the Lombardia.

I agree Savonas is really good. The downside are their hours. I barely get to go there cause they're only open while I'm at work. Closed Sundays and only open til 4 on Saturdays :(

Tamberino's is definitely the best! Their subs are GIGANTIC and a great value. Fast carryout too. Hmm...might be on the menu for dinner tonight :)

NY Deli has a killer Reuben.
Tamberino's is great and the subs are large but they are also a little pricey.
I just had the worst sandwich recently from Fritzies. I won't go back there anytime soon.

Yummy Gus's Deli Mart has the best tuna melts and tuna sandwiches in the world. Even if you hate tuna you will love THIS tuna.

I remember the compania with prosciutto sandwiches from Savona being yummy. Big enough to share, too.

WITHOUT A DOUBT GUS'S DELI MART IS THE BEST AROUND WHEN IT COMES TO SANDWICHES AND FRIENDLY SERVICE!! If you havnt eaten there yet i highly recommend you get up there and try it for yourself!!

My family and I LOVE Gus's Deli Mart!!! The staff is SO FRIENDLY and the food is TO DIE FOR! I personally love the ma & pop feel of the place and not to mention it's convenient location!! RIGHT IN THE HEART OF BEL AIR! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!?

It is such a shame to see places like Subway, Panera and TGI Fridays on a list like this. Support local business!! It does wonders for the economy. Not to mention you can't get the personal service that you get at places like Little NY or Open Door. And the food is amazing.

If someone really feels that Panera or Subway or Fridays has the best sandwich, then what is wrong with then picking them.

Local does not equal better just as much as a chain does not equal crap?

Personally I would prefer a chicken cheesesteak sub from Tamberinos.

And remember some chains are actually locally owned franchisees.

This absolutely is a rigged vote going on here....Place is pretty empty every time I ride by, which is often. I don't like this kind of manipulation, so here is one who will never patronize Gus's.

The tomato and mozz sandwich with olive oil and basil at Savona on Main St in Bel Air is delicious. Perfect, especially when paired with a can or bottle of sparkling lemon or orange Pellogrino water. So, so good.

I'd rather have a pit beef sandwich from Fast Eddies in Fallston overall. But that's just me....

I know they are not in Bel Air but Hickory Station has the BEST sandwiches anywhere! Their bread is always fresh and you will not be disappointed in anything you order from them. The chicken salad is to die for! Check them out! They are located right next to Dairy Queen.
