People need to start praying for these youth!!! Something has gone terribly wrong with these CHILDRENS home environments, family situations, school or even with their peers for them to commit such awful acts.....The young people of today are on a dangerous path and no one takes notices they just throw more fuel of the fire....*Praying for all the familys involved* No where is truely safe.....

Hopefully JUSTICE will be served Swiftly and send an Eye opening message to All youths whom make these decisions. It's getting far out of hand. There are No "aww poor babies" @ the Harford County Detention Center. Need a Hickey School with a gas chamber built.

Kids don't just wake up one day and say "Hey, I think I'll kill someone today".....they certainly shouldn't receive a slap on the wrist but more needs to be done to stop these things before they happen...I knew Pat he was a amazing person and he didn't deserve to be murdered. Donnell absolutely deserves to be punished for what he did. People need to wake up and reach out to these kids so this doesn't happen over and over again!!!!!

to jc...I can certainly call an area unsafe if I feel nervous when visiting a friend...this murder happened in the same building where my acquaintance lived. Often I'd see kids running around, unsupervised and it made me feel very nervous about my own son. You may disagree, which is fine, but as a parent I know what makes me uncomfortable and what does not...this area most definitely did.

as far the boy murdering his own father--sounds like there were circumstances in that house that contributed to the situation. I wonder what the blind man did to contribute to his murder...
