Three Arrested in Armed Robbery of 85-Year-Old Rosedale Man
An elderly victim was allegedly held at knife-point and robbed of cash and medicine.
Police arrested two Middle River brothers who allegedly robbed an 85-year-old Rosedale man in his home on July 4. An Abingdon woman was also arrested for helping to plan the robbery, police said.
Matthew Thomas Polis, 23, and Codey Thomas Polis, 20, entered a home on the 1200 block of Gettig Road in Rosedale at about 8:45 p.m. and threatened the elderly resident with a knife, police allege. The two took prescription drugs, $2,600 in cash and a cell phone, according to police. The robbery victim was not injured, said Lt. Ron Brooks of the White Marsh police precinct.
During the investigation, police discovered the victim was an aquaintence of 19-year-old Danielle Gean Ash of the 3700 block of Timbers Court.
Investigators believe she conspired with the brothers, of the first block of Hydroplane Drive in Middle River, in planning the robbery.
Ash was arrested on July 7 and charged with theft and conspiracy to commit an armed robbery. Matthew Thomas Polis, also arrested on July 7, was charged with armed robbery, theft and first-degree assault. Codey Thomas Polis, arrested on July 8, was charged with armed robbery and theft, police said.
Matthew Thomas Polis was interviewed by Patch in May after his twin sister, Chrissy Polis, a transgendered woman, was attacked while trying to use a bathroom at a Rosedale McDonald's.
"Justice needs to be served in this case," Polis said in the article. "Chrissy is doing better and time heals all wounds. We just want to see those that did this attack to be punished."

I hope justice is served for this poor man! The 2 "boys" should have to pay the man back as well as many, many hours of community service. The Polis kids have a history w the police and will continue until the system does something about it!!!
