UPDATE: I-95 Aberdeen Ramp Reopened After Fatal Crash

One person was killed when an SUV struck a tractor-trailer truck parked on the shoulder of northbound I-95 near the Aberdeen exit ramp.

The exit ramp to Aberdeen from I-95 was reopened at about 10:30 a.m. after being closed following a fatal crash Saturday morning.

Maryland State Police and Harford County Fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene after the crash occurred at about 7:50 a.m., according to a state police spokesman.

A Ford Expedition drove onto the shoulder of the highway near the exit ramp and struck the back of a tractor-trailer truck parked on the shoulder.

The driver, who was the only occupant of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the spokesman.

No other information was available.
