Victim: Hair Appointment Turned into Armed Robbery
Police arrested a suspect in connection with an armed robbery on Monday.
Police arrested a 19-year-old Edgewood woman after what the victim said was a hair appointment that turned into an armed robbery on Monday. The suspect, however, told police that she duped the woman into meeting her for a heroin deal, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Keona M. Browning, 19, of the 500 block of Meadowood Drive, was charged with robbery, armed robbery, theft less than $100, conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. According to the police report, Browning admitted to the crimes.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office report also stated that Browning said the victim contacted her, asking where she could buy heroin. Browning and a friend met the woman in her car in the 1600 block of Candlewood Court, the report stated.
With the victim in the front seat, Browning got in the back passenger seat and her friend in the front passenger seat, according to the report.
The victim told police Browning then pulled out a black, semi-automatic handgun and said, “Give me your money or I’ll shoot the [expletive] out of you.”
Browning allegedly took the woman’s purse, keys and less than $100 cash, the report stated.
While Browning contends she duped the woman into meeting for a drug deal, the victim told police she met Browning to get her hair dyed, the report stated.
Browning was released Tuesday from the Harford County Detention Center on $25,000 bail.

Yep, the victim is totally believable. Looking at the perp's mugshot, she'd be the first person I'd call for a dye job.
