The Nerve Part Two

Well just when you would think that someone isn't pompous enough ... This morning when I arrived at work I noticed a car was blocking the back entrance to the shop. My first thought was contact my landlord, when I got no response I was forced to call the police dept. When the parking authority arrived they diligently worked to come to some sort of resolution to this problem.

However since the car was on private property there wasn't much they could do, a town officer was called and I was informed once again that this was between me and my landlord. The entire situation caused quite a stir on a normally non-eventful Monday morning. While talking with Bel Air's Finest the owner of the car came out and I asked him quite nicely to just move over a couple of feet, he then began ranting how that is his spot now and he has been here for fifty years yady yada yada. (Like anyone really cares.)

I noticed the license plates were War of 1812  plates, I wonder if he was a Veteran  of this War?

Oh well the discussion got a little heated and the fine officer stepped between us and said he was getting ready to arrest the both of us. With this I walked into my store, don't need to get arrested, but I overheard the other party say "You wouldn't arrest an ex-judge." Wow how pompous can one get? The Parking Wars of Bel Air continue!

Park YOUR vehicle there!!! No matter what time.. as soon as he moves.. DO it.. Still deal with the landloard too. Bring a few boxes down the steps and lay them on his vehicle to PULL off once you are safe to get around he blocking vehicle. Also, check with the fire station... for parking violation for fire exit!!!! We need to see where this is.. maybe have him blocked in until someone gets off of work later than he gets off. What a real unconsiderate person.

Seeing as it is private property and you can use it may I suggest 2 -3 garbage cans placed in the spot with 2-5 cinder blocks in each and some cat litter (prefered used) placed right in the middle of the spot. You can vaseline the handles on the cans as well to prevent just pulling them out of the way. Either that or a well placed I love OBL bumper stickers or a Hairy Butt drives me nutz sticker

Ex-judge, attorney - guess that is where he gets the feeling that he owns the world. Senior judges Ciavarella & Conahan were arrested in Pa so I'm sure Bel Air could arrest him. Wrong is wrong - just ask Strauss-Kahn about abuse of power.

How far is the next parking spot? Your land lord could always install two steel post to prevent anyone from blocking the stairs then paint them bright yellow. Don't touch the car that WILL get you locked up for sure. Try working with the guy on some sort of resolution to this problem.
Good Luck..
