Early Registration Discount for The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region's Harford Hills Bike Adventure Expires this Saturday

The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region, a non-profit that helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build better lives, will host its second annual Harford Hills Bike Adventure on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Early registration is $35 per rider and will increase to $45 this Saturday, March 8, 2014. Riders are encouraged to register now to save at www.Active.com or www.arcncr.org.

The ride will begin and end at the historic Steppingstone Farm Museum in Havre de Grace, Maryland and loop through the scenic vistas of Harford County and along the Susquehanna River. There will be a six mile, 15 mile, 30 mile and 54 mile route to accommodate riders of all levels. “Having avid cyclists ride alongside individuals with special needs during the Harford Hills Bike Adventure perfectly illustrates our mission and shows how the fabric of our community is strengthened when we all work together,” says The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region development director Julie Chmura.

The starting time for the Harford Hills Bike Adventure is at 8:00 a.m. and all riders are required to wear helmets. All registered riders will receive complimentary food, drink, entertainment and an event shirt. Following the race, riders and spectators can enjoy an afternoon of music from the band Electric Molly. Food and drinks will be provided for each rider and beer will also be available to all to purchase. The Steppingstone Museum will remain open for visitors at no cost during the event.
