Seasoned attorney and founder of McLaughlin Law Group, Content McLaughlin welcomes a new addition to her team. After maintaining his solo practice for five years, litigation attorney, Shawn Vinson joined the Bel Air-based boutique law group in November 2013. Vinson’s practice focused on estate planning and litigation management for a variety of clients and small businesses in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Harford County.
Following graduation from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2004, Vinson began his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney with Harford County, where he prosecuted criminal cases and reviewed expungement applications in the District Court division. He moved to private practice as an associate with Parler & Wobber in Towson. Under the supervision of a managing partner, Vinson handled civil litigation in asbestos, lead paint and motor vehicle accident cases. Vinson has appeared before District and Circuit Courts throughout the state, as well as before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. He is an active member of the F.O.P. and is admitted to practice before the Maryland Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of Maryland, and the U.S. Tax Court. Vinson is also a member of the Peer Review Panel Committee for the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission.
