The Plumbing Apprenticeship Program is the result of a partnership between Harford Community College and the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)—Baltimore Metro to help the construction community build a qualified workforce now and into the future. Construction craft training increases productivity and safety and gives construction workers a considerable advantage over those trained by informal means.
Instructors are NCCER-certified and are professionals in their trade. ABC's apprenticeship training programs are fully approved and accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), U.S. Department of Labor, Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Council, and the Veterans Administration and include both classroom instruction and hands-on lab experience.
