“It actually went awesome. Honestly it was just like one of those things where nothing went wrong… everything just went as planned,” Kreisel said.
InTheGlow hosted a fashion show at The Arena Club on Sunday as part of the organization’s newest campaign Dress Your Glow. The initiative offers free dresses to area girls with the understanding they will return them when they are done.
Sunday’s fashion show allowed Kreisel to show off the more than 900 dresses InTheGlow has collected. The dresses were all modeled by area teens.
“We had a ton of girls come and actually get dresses,” Kreisel said. “And some girls actually waited for the models to change, because they wanted the dress the models were wearing.”
Kreisel said their goal was to have 100 spectators attended the event, and they ended up with well over that.
The Fashion Show also featured local business vendors and raffle prizes.
“The Arena Club totally transformed into a runway,” Kreisel said. “The girls had so much fun, which is the most important part. There were a lot of laughs.”
