Did You Lose Your Cat Near Abingdon?

A friendly cat was found by a local resident—do you know whose it is?

Dianna Jennings found this cat in her Abingdon neighborhood last week and took to our Facebook page to announce it. Now she wants to return it to its owner.

Did you lose your cat in Harford County recently, or do you know someone who did?

Here is a description from Dianna, who is hoping to return the pet to its owner:

I found this pretty cat in my neighborhood about a week ago, but he/she might have been wandering around for longer than that but I can't be sure.

I am not sure if it's a male of female ... we haven't gotten acquainted like that .... but the cat has VERY unique markings so an owner would know this cat right away. I have been feeding this kitty and hope he/she will be reunited with its owner soon.

If not, I want to help it find a forever home. I don't want to do that, however, without attempting to find the owners first. Attached you will find pictures. I live in Abingdon, Deer Hill Circle and Dunnigan, and this is where this kitty has been.

He/she is VERY approachable, will sit in your lap and nuzzle your neck, unafraid of dogs and children, (my 20-month-old lays on this cat) so I know this is a house cat and not a feral cat. She has a black and white face and body and an all-black tail.
