Harford County To Review Closure of Pritt Lane

A hearing to discuss the closure will be held on Nov. 14 in Bel Air.

The closure of a portion of Pritt Lane in the Hickory area will be the subject of a public meeting on Nov. 14 before the Harford County Road Closing Committee.

The closure would extend from the existing “T” turnaround at Conowingo 
Road (Maryland Business Route 1) to a location approximately 175 feet west of the turnaround, prior to the first driveways west of Conowingo Road.

The hearing to discuss the closure will be held in the Harford County Council Chambers, located at 212 South Bond St. in Bel Air on Nov. 14, at 6 p.m.

Comments from the public on the petition to close the road will be heard at the meeting.

Plans for the proposed closing may be reviewed at the Department of Public Works, 212 S. Bond Street, Third Floor, Bel Air, Maryland anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For those individuals who are unable to attend the hearing, written comments may be sent to the Department of Public Works, Division of Highways and Stormwater Management, 212 S. Bond Street, Third Floor, Bel Air, Maryland 21014 by November 7, 2013.
