Maryland State BBQ Bash Kicks Off Friday In Bel Air
The Maryland State BBQ Bash has been one of the biggest events in Bel Air for the past few years.
One of the biggest Bel Air events of the year will get underway Friday.
The 12th Maryland State BBQ Bash kicks off at 4 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of the Mary-Risteau State Office Building at 2 S. Bond Street. Festivities wrap up at 10 p.m. Friday.
The barbecue-themed street festival will continue Saturday from noon until 10 p.m. Live bands, local vendors and competitions are among the highlights at the bash.
Last year, the two-day event drew between 25,000 and 30,000 attendees, according to event organizer, Bel Air Downtown Alliance director Scott Walker.
