Memorial Service Tonight for Joey d'Entremont, Funeral Wednesday

A memorial service for Joey d'Entremont, who was fatally struck by a vehicle last night, will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Fallston Recreation Complex. Viewing and funeral times have also been announced.

A memorial for Joey d'Entremont, a Fallston High School student who was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing Maryland Route 24 in Forest Hill on Friday night, will be held tonight at 8 p.m. at the Fallston Recreation Complex.

The memorial was planned by Logan Eisenhardt, Sloane DelaCruz and some of their friends who have been in the same class year as d'Entremont since third grade, according to Logan's mother Ginger. Eisenhardt and DelaCruz are freshmen at Fallston.

Ginger said that they came up with the idea because "they just want to be with their friends."

Though Logan and DelaCruz say they have enough supplies now, they are looking for candles, lighters, blankets and hot chocolate for the event, which will take place in the open field adjacent to the football field.

Viewings for d'Entremont will be held Tuesday from 6–9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m.–12 p.m at Mountain Christian Church. (Not Monday and Tuesday, as previously indicated.) A service and burial will follow Wednesday's viewing.

Parking for tonight's event will be in the recreation complex's parking lot and the elementary school located on the adjacent property.
