New Budget Announced; CVS Robbed Again

A Frederick woman was involved in a Churchville Road accident Wednesday while Ray Lewis made a Harford Mall appearance.

The Town of Bel Air's proposed new budget was unveiled Monday night to much anticipation, while the Ma & Pa Trail received a new feature from an engineer's past.

1. Schlehr Proposes Tax Hold, Employee Cost of Living Increase

Town Administrator Chris Schlehr  Monday, giving the media and residents of the town their . The total budget is $14,798,209—$362,013 more than last year. Changes are included in the areas of state shared income tax, public works fee revenue, planning department funds and police funds.

2. Man Robs Churchville Road CVS with Handgun

A man in the 2100 block of Churchville Road with a handgun at around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday morning. The Maryland State Police responded to the incident, which is still under investigation. This is the the CVS has been robbed since December.

3. Frederick Woman in Shock Trauma After Fall From Vehicle Near John Carroll

A woman was in on Churchville Road around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The driver of the car, her boyfriend, said she jumped from the car during after an argument. The Maryland State Police and are still investigating the incident.

4. Ray Lewis: 'Football is the Last Thing on My Mind'

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis in the on Thursday night, but wasn't there to talk about the NFL lockout or his future with the team. The 35-year-old alluded to many different business interests he plans to take on this summer if the lockout is not resolved.

5. 'Daybreak' Before Bypass on Ma & Pa Trail

A new sculpture was next to the Bel Air Bypass on Thursday was designed by an Ellicott City resident, Richard G. Brink. Brink came up with his design in the late 1980s while studying at the University of Masschusetts Amherst, and found the perfect use for it in Harford County.
