Photo of the Week: School Bus Convergence

Here's a weekly photograph from around the Bel Air Patch area.

These school buses near provided a bright yellow break from an overcast Friday afternoon.

I was caught by the repetition of color and pulled out my camera, trying to play up the visual connection between the reflections and what was in front of me.

These were the two shots I was most pleased with.

The horizontal shot captures a sense of movement with the bus moving out of the frame, but the "Stop" sign keeps the eye from leaving the frame entirely.

The buses form a triangle that keeps the eye moving around the picture.

The vertical shot, I believe, best portrayed the number of buses that were passing through the intersection. The reflected lines also added a new dimension to the shot.
