BGE Outages Sprinkled Across Greater Bel Air

The utility company said that damaged equipment caused residents to lose power.

Three pockets of residents in greater Bel Air were without power Saturday night due to damaged equipment, according to BGE.

Kings Charter in Bel Air South was where the most homes were affected. A dozen customers off Ann Place experienced an outage that was reported at 8:11 p.m. BGE said estimated restoration time was 1 a.m. Sunday.

Near Crisfield Drive in Abingdon, an outage hit fewer than five customers shortly after 8 a.m. In that case, restoration time was also expected to be 1 a.m. Sunday.

In the Thomas Run area, a handful of residents on Wye Mill Lane lost power around 6:30 a.m. Friday, BGE said. The situation was still being assessed, so BGE did not provide an estimated restoration time.

All cases were attributed to equipment being damaged.

Citizens can report outages by calling BGE at 877-778-2222 or through an online form.
