Resurfacing to Begin on 2 State Roads in Harford County

The Department of Public Works reminded drivers to be mindful of workers and plan time accordingly.

There may be lane closures in the Bel Air area due to repaving operations, the Harford County Department of Public Works reported Monday.

The State Highway Administration will be repaving MD Route 136/Priestford Road between MD Route 7/Philadelphia Road and MD Route 543/Creswell Road, according to the report.

In addition, Philadelphia Road will be repaved between Fashion Way and MD Route 24/Veterans Memorial Highway, the report said.

Work could take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

"As with all construction projects, please be cognizant of the workers around the construction zone and plan your time accordingly as delays may occur," the department of public works said.
