Weekend Events: School Theater, Free Document Shredding

Check out some of the events going on in and around Bel Air this weekend.

If you're looking for something to do this weekend look no further than Harford County.

It's a big weekend for high school drama performances, but that's not all that is taking place in and around town. Check out the following events and be sure to add your own to the calendar:

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes presented by Fallston: The Fallston High School student actors will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday to perform Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. The show will take place in the auditorium of the school, located at 2301 Carrs Mill Road in Fallston.

Harvey presented by Harford Tech: Harford Technical High School students will take the stage at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and again at 2 p.m. Sunday in their presentation of Harvey, the the Pulitzer prize winning play by Mary Chase. The show will take place in the auditorium of the school, located at 200 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air.

Annie Get Your Gun presented by C. Milton Wright: On Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., the C. Milton Wright High School students will perform Annie Get Your Gun. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. The show will take place in the auditorium of the school, located at 1301 N. Fountain Green Road in Bel Air.

Free Document Shredding: If you have sensitive documents that need shredding, you can take care of it for free Saturday. From 9 a.m. until noon, Chesapeake Shredding will be at Susquehanna Bank, located at 1525 Rock Spring Road in Forest Hill, to securely destroy documents.

Model Train Show: Available on Saturdays and Sundays at noon through Dec. 16, this exhibit of working train models for all ages is on display at the Harford County Historical Society, located at 143 N. Main Street in Bel Air. Tickets are $4.
