Bret Michaels Playing in Fallston Wednesday Night

Bret Michaels of the band Poison is performing Wednesday night in , though the host business won't offer many more details.

A tour bus for Michaels, who most recently gained fame for his VH1 show Rock of Love has been parked outside the Mallet at the corner of and since at least 3:30 p.m.

"It's a private event," said Christa Rossi, a manager who was in the restaurant Wednesday afternoon. "Come back tomorrow and see what happened."

The Baltimore Sun reported that the Harford County Liquor Control Board was not notified of the private event.

Rossi would not confirm that Michaels was playing, but another employee dressed with a "Mallet" collared shirt confirmed the rock star would perform. The employee declined to identify themselves or say when the show was scheduled to begin, but said the party was for about 275 people.

The seafood restaurant opened weekend.
