This annual meeting and dinner of election of board of directors is the signature event of the historical society's 125th anniversary celebration. Former U.S. Senator and Harford County native Joseph Tydings will appear as a guest speaker. He will discuss his former family home known as Oakington, which was the site of many famous rendezvouses between his father, Millard Tydings, and historical American figures. Millard was a well-known politician, who hosted national and international leaders, including the Kennedys and Hubert Humphrey, from the 1930s - 70s at Oakington.
