Week In Review: County Office Inauguration, First Redistricting Hearing

Top news of the week includes county office inauguration, the first Board of Education public hearing and plenty of local sports.

The week began with an at the county courthouse on Monday. The swearing in was for County Executive David Craig, and the County Council and was the first time every member of those offices returned for a consecutive term. Fallston High School's choir, the Fallston Belles, .

The County Council also held its first  of the members' new term on Tuesday.

The Board of Education held its for parents to respond to the . Kathy Welsh, a parent in the Prospect Mill Elementary School district, did not wait for the meeting to express her views and to board members ahead of time. Gov. Martin O'Malley also to their seats early.

There were plenty of basketball games this week across the county. Bel Air's basketball team had it's against C. Milton Wright and went on to on Friday. The Bel Air wrestling team on Wednesday. John Carroll's basketball team on Tuesday on Thursday.  Patterson Mill's boys basketball team on Monday, but on Friday, their girls basketball team . Fallston's boys basketball team on Monday, and . The girls basketball team on Wednesday. Aberdeen's girls basketball team on Thursday, and C. Milton Wright's basketball team on Friday.
