Fallston is Fun!

I am enjoying having a business in Fallston. I grew up in Fork and we were always in Fallston. When I got married in 1994 my husband and I moved to Street and I missed my little Baltimore suburb.
I am so happy to spend a part of every day back home again! Best of all I am next to Josef's. Our friend Jeff is a chef at Josef's and today some nice ladies who also work there stopped by the shop. By the way- "the shop" is Blue Bird Salvage- a little bit of heaven for me. We sell repurposed vintage furniture. We have been open one week and everyone in our building has been so kind. Above our store is Dr. Roth the dentist. Everyone loves him. He and his wife have a beautiful office. Below our store is Dr. Tzomides - okay I probably didn't spell that right- sorry Dr. Tom! He is very nice and I am not just saying that because he is our landlord- lol. 
Marc Dipasquale is the State Farm agent in our building and he has been very kind and thoughtful. He always waves when he passes by. The owners of the 7-11 on the corner also stopped in to say hello and introduce themselves. The person who has been so patient with us is Dr. DePeso the chiropractor below us. Desi and I have kids and when the cousins get together things can get rowdy. Well, one day before the shop opened we had to work with a few of the kids hanging out together and of course they started a game of hide n seek and before you know it they were running like freight trains. The good doc came up and kindly asked for the freight trains to pull into the station and take a rest. He did so kindly and we appreciated his kind disposition. Children don't always get to witness an adult acting as they should- kind and respectful. To this day- if they are with us- they take into consideration the good doc. Thank you for helping to teach them respect :) Last but not least in our office building we have the Pilates lady as we have come to call her. She is a lovely lady with a beautiful new fitness studio.
