'Lite the Town Pink' Thursday in Bel Air

Bel Air Downtown Alliance and 101.9 Lite FM are hosting Girls Night Out Thursday in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

With your help, Bel Air Downtown Alliance and 101.9 Lite FM are hoping to illuminate the streets of downtown Bel Air Thursday night with pink light.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 101.9 Lite FM is asking you to help them "Lite the Town Pink. The radio station will be traveling all over Baltimore this month with pink 'LITE' bulbs in support of breast cancer awareness, and you can join in Thursday night.

All month Bel Air Downtown Alliance has been working to "Paint the Town Pink." In a partnership with The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation (UCHF), Bel Air Downtown Alliance is celebrating the opening of the new Kaufman Cancer Center on the campus of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

Thursday's Girls Night Out is just another event to help raise awareness of cancer care in Bel Air.

Lite FM will be in Downtown Bel Air at Barely Used Consignments on Main Street from 5:30-7:30 p.m., giving away 'LITE' bulbs to the first 101 people who show up. Bel Air Downtown Alliance will also have new pink Girls Night Out shopping bags to give away.

Shops in downtown Bel Air will be open from 5-8 p.m., and many will have specials and events. For more information on Girls Night Out, click here.
