Bel Air Black Friday Shoppers Get Early Start

Lines began to form outside a number of chain businesses such as Best Buy and Target on the eve of Black Friday in anticipation of midnight openings.

were out in droves as early as Thanksgiving Day waiting in line for great deals.

Outside , the first people in line arrived at midnight Thursday, 24 hours before the Black Friday opening. Neelam, Swati, James, Mukesh and Vidur Tangri were proudly leading the line Thursday night and enjoying the Ravens game on a tablet screen.

Several customers were frustrated that "doorbuster" items at Best Buy were sold out before 11 p.m. and well before the store opened.

At , shoppers were more positive.

"This is the best store I've ever been to for Black Friday," Leo Rollins said of Target.

People in line, including Rollins and Angie Kirchner, raved about the service Target provided from offering hot chocolate and power bars to providing maps and outlining available numbers of certain items.

"It seems like they have it all together," Tammy Herd said.
