Multiple People Involved in Edgewood Stabbing:…

Marlin & Rays Opens For Business

The new restaurant officially opened Wednesday afternoon.

A corner of beach and a taste of the sea opened in Bel Air Wednesday afternoon.

Marlin & Rays officially opened for business at 2 p.m. Wednesday. An area of beach chairs, complete with sand and a sun umbrella along with a beanbag game were featured outside the restaurant for the opening.

Less than half an hour after doors opened, a few people were trying out the new restaurant. Guest services manager Sam Parker explained the weekend of an opening is usually more heavily attended than opening day.

The restaurant replaced Ruby Tuesday at 593 Baltimore Pike in Bel Air.

You can find a menu for the seafood restaurant here.

We ate there openning day and thought the food was fantastic and the service was great!!! Salad was excellent. We started with the coconut shrimp, then grouper and ribs. No room for desert.

Stopped in for lunch Saturday, the service was great but the shrimp sandwich turned out to be ten dollars worth of bread.Half a dozen breaded shrimp does not a shrimp sandwich make. The parking lot is awkward, saw a fender bender take place while I was there.I'm sure Marlin and Ray will learn to get along without me.

My wife and I ate there tonight both ordered blackened grouper and they brought out grouper with no seasoning on it sent it back came back out with it so lightly seasoned I wouldn't call that blackened. They said sorry but when the check came didn't offer to give a discount we had to ask to get it. Crab cake was mostly filler and not tasty at all. Onion rings not good. The key lime pie was one of the best I've ever had. I will never eatthere again and do not recommend this restaurant at all.
