New Fallston CVS Pharmacy Now Open

The business officially opened this month.

Residents in the Fallston area now have a new place to get prescriptions filled.

CVS Pharmacy opened a new store location at 228 Mountain Road in Fallston.

The business officially opened Sept. 14, a store employee confirmed.

Several other businesses are under construction in the growing shopping center, including a Texas Roadhouse restaurant and an APG Federal Credit Union.

A McDonald's is also up and running.

Do you think this is a good location for CVS Pharmacy? Will you utilize this new location? Leave a comment.

This isn't really new... they just moved across the street to a new building. Which honestly took them long enough, they were talking about moving when I worked there like 8 years ago.

True, they weren't far away. It is a new location, though.

Nice to have a drive thru.

Sad to abandon the existing building - maybe instead of putting up new buildings, they could rehab the ones that already exist.

@Lynn... I don't know the current situation for that shopping center, but back when I worked at that CVS there was a reason (if I'm remembering correctly, this was long while ago) that the shopping center couldn't be remodeled. Plus the landlord really didn't give a crap about anything in there. The county had to condemn the entrance (where the drain is, with the giant bump) for him to repair it.

I'm happy that the new CVS is there. It's a shame at how rundown the shopping center is where the Acme and the old CVS was. The owner of the shopping center certainly doesn't care. He must have other plans for that space and it can't come fast enough. That old shopping center has become an eyesore!

Has, as in past tense, become an eyesore? It's been one for at least a decade. Needs a good bulldozing.

We already had a strip mall...what we certainly didn't need is another strip mall on the other side. Same old story; we crap on one area so allow it to blight and move onto the next area trashing trees and farms in the process; it's called sprawl and it sucks. I'll never shop there because I don't want to encourage Fallston to end up just like Belair. Hideous and ill planned. It's hard enough getting down 152 and now we'll have people pulling in and out of that center clustering up the place even more.

I went to CVS. I'm stuck in the parking lot and can't find my way to Rt 152 north. :-)

Ohhh, not a good reference on Yom Kippur... sorry!
