Old School Tavern Begins 14-Day Suspension

The Street store has been fined $6,000.

A 14-day liquor license suspension for Old School Tavern in Dublin began Thursday.

The store’s licensees were found guilty of three violations stemming from a Nov. 14, 2009 incident. On April 14, Judge Angela Eaves of the upheld the suspension along with $6,000 in fines.

The licensees originally went before the Harford County Liquor Control Board on June 10, 2010 facing the following charges:

  • Allowing a licensee or employee to consume alcoholic beverages while on duty, in violation of Board Rule 4:04
  • Selling, offering for sale or dispensing alcoholic beverages during the hours prohibited, in violation of Article 2B § 11-513 (b), of the Annotated Code of Maryland and Board Rule 4:09 of the Rules and Regulations for Harford County, Maryland
  • Allowing alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the licensee’s premises after 2:15 a.m. or before 8:00 a.m. and allowing alcoholic beverages to remain on tables or serving counters after 2:30 a.m., in violation of Article 2B § 11-513 (c) (1) (2), of the Annotated Code of Maryland and Board Rule 4:09 of the Rules and Regulations for Harford County, Maryland.

The suspension is scheduled to end June 10. The business was closed Friday.
